Producing a New Puppet Series for Kids!

Hi, I have been working on producing a new YOUtube series for the whole family. It will be a show that covers all kinds of things from GMOs, Vaccines, Geoengineering and more. I thought it would be a good idea to do this while I had some free time. I started out building the sets, building the yellow puppets, and writing the music. The first episode took a few weeks to produce and film. It was a lot of work but I feel like it was worth it. There are not many sources out there for kids and parents to learn about these issues. There is a book series for children that talks about the ideas of liberty, called “The Tuttle Twins” tuttletwins.com. I plan to purchase some of the books soon for research. Using puppets in this way offers some alternatives for parents looking for new sources of information and entertainment for a younger audience. The first episode in the series can be seen here.

Building the Characters

I really love the main puppet character of the show. His name is Theo. He’s sort of a nerd. I also really like the puppet pattern, they are very expressive. It was fun building these puppets because I have always wanted a yellow puppet and two it was a learning experience. Is was fun to learn new ways to build the mouth plate which is the inside parts that make the mouth of a puppet. I would say it’s he most important part of puppet building and puppeteering.

Learning about Truth, Health, and Liberty

I hope this series can open people’s eyes to some of the things we face today as a society. I try to live as healthy of a lifestyle as I can. I filter my water, I take high quality supplements, I try to exercise as much as I can. Getting into puppetry made me want to be more healthy and strong. Holding puppets up in the air for long periods takes a lot of muscle strength and muscle memory. I try my best to promote the ideas of freedom as well.  I will present you with ideas and information, you do your own research at home and decide for yourself! I hope you enjoy the show!!!
